Mabel's Cottage Sitting Room
A supremely cosy room with log burning stove, TV with freesat, Bose music system, and a bookshelf well stocked with books, maps, and walking guides. At its most alluring in Autumn and Winter, where we have whiled away many an evening in front of the fire, glass of red wine in hand, plotting our next day's walk across the hills.

Mabel's Cottage Through Room
What to call this room? The post-sitting room? The ante-kitchen? You decide - and let us know! With its antique pine pew and arm chair, and window overlooking the village high street, you will most likely find us here donning boots for a village wonder or a cross hill adventure. Stairs lead from here to the upstairs bedrooms.

Mabel's Cottage Bathroom
On the ground floor, this is a modern, immaculate room, with bath and thermostatically controlled shower over, and permanent glass shower screen. Our efficient boiler system ensures a powerful, hot shower. Window overlooking the garden.

Mabel's Cottage Master Bedroom
A bright and light room, with a Victorian brass and iron bedstead. The window overlooks the village high street. Expect to be awoken not by traffic - as little this way comes since the A37 bypassed this sleepy village between Dorchester and Yeovil - but by the clip-clopping of morning horse riders, and the cooing of the village pigeons!

Mabel's Cottage Twin Bedroom
A beautiful dual aspect room decorated in fresh country cottage style, with twin beds. There is a book shelf well stocked with children's books and games. The vintage toy box, with its treasure trove of much loved toys from our own boys' childhood times here receives much praise in the guest book!
